A Weekend Retreat with Beth Molaro

Join our weekend getaway in the inspirational beauty and natural surroundings of the Blue Ridge Assembly located in Black Mountain, NC just 16 miles from downtown Asheville. Black Mountain is a sweet town with lovely shops and galleries that you will want to explore. 

 

You'll love being nestled in this peaceful oasis. Hiking trails weave throughout the sprawling 1200 acre mountain retreat center. You'll discover quiet nooks and benches to sit and read or contemplate. The front porch of our lodge features rocking chairs and an outside fireplace. 

 

This weekend immersion brings together two Longevity Practices based on our natural, innate ability to harmonize body, mind, and spirit. We'll have Kaiut Yoga sessions and Jin Shin Jyutsu Meditation/Self-Help Sessions too. Experience a deep meditative and restorative practice imbued with the energetic blueprint of the Jin Shin Jyutsu practice and the biomechanical wisdom of the Kaiut Yoga Method.

Beth Molaro, our retreat leader, is steeped in the exploration of these two kindred longevity practices. One from Japan and the other from Brazil, these two practices both work from the joints to unleash restrictions and stagnant energy, to calm the nervous system, to ease stress and trauma held in the body, to harmonize body and mind, and to free our spirit.

While the Blue Ridge Assembly was first established in 1906, our lodge, pictured above, was just built in 2021. Bedrooms are shared. Each room is equipped with either a pair of twin beds/bunks, a queen size bed or a king size bed. Eight full bathrooms, two living rooms, two dining areas and two kitchens! There is a fireplace on the front porch and another in the upper level living room. It is a beautiful building! Our practice space will be a short walk from our lodge. 

Our Weekend Schedule: 

Arrive on Friday between 4 and 5:30. We’ll have our first practice session and dinner starting at 6pm.

Saturday, we will have a late morning practice after breakfast. After lunch, there will be free time in the middle of the day for hiking, napping and exploring. Followed by another yoga practice and dinner.

Sunday we’ll have our final yoga practice and brunch.

All meals are included. You can expect nourishing wholesome meals with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Healthy snacks, coffee and teas, and fruit will be available throughout.
